Genevieve is an artist, design educator, public scholar and creative catalyst with a keen ability to conceptualize and lead innovative initiatives at the convergence of the arts, design, science, emerging technology and community. She collaborates with innovators across disciplines to spark new learning and knowledge sharing. Building bridges between art, science and technology realms is her specialty.
In her current capacity at Cornish College of the Arts, she served as the Interim Chair of the Creative Corridor, a new interdisciplinary elective program that ignites critical digital making and publicly engaged practice and scholarship in the visual and performing arts. She is an Assistant Professor of Design, working with advanced design students to address complex integrated design challenges and steward their development of theoretical, research driven capstone projects.
Currently, Genevieve is the US Academic Program Director for ASKXXI: Arts + Science Knowledge Building in the XXI Century. ASKXXI is a pioneering interdisciplinary and inter-hemispheric program fosters U.S.- Chile cooperation and collaboration in art, emerging digital/virtual technologies and the ecological sciences. The 2018 pilot program sponsored by the US Embassy Santiago (Public Affairs).
