I am a fifth year secondary English and Visual Arts teacher currently at Gleneagles Secondary College in Melbourne's south east. I am part of our school's E-Wing; a team of staff skilled in ICT for classroom learning, supporting staff and students through our transition to 1:1 devices. We became an Office365 school 3 years ago and use OneNote class notebooks for approx 90% of teaching and learning, heavily utilised by staff and students alike... I cannot even imagine teaching without it now!
I started exploring 21st Century pedagogy during my studies at Deakin University and had opportunities to present digital classroom PD to a number of schools during my pre-service teaching days, and I am continuing to explore various ways of networking and sharing ICT skills and ideas with others. I am excited by the new opportunities that the digital world has to offer education and the chance to join this worldwide network of educators taking risks, and thinking outside the box.
