Migrate Your Account
Follow the steps below to continue using the Microsoft Educator Community:
Step 1: Sign into your Facebook, Twitter, or Skype account
Step 2: Update your account to an Office 365 or Microsoft Account.
Step 3: Wait for update to complete.
Once the update is successfully completed, you’ll only be able to sign in with your Office 365 or Microsoft account. Please check your Office 365 or Microsoft email for your update status.
The update should only take a few minutes and you'll receive an email at your office 365 or Microsoft account when the update is completed.
What do I need to do?
Microsoft is optimizing user experiences for Office 365 and Microsoft personal accounts. We suggest that you use your Office 365 school account so you can use the same account to sign in for all Microsoft appiications that you use at school. if your school account isn't preferred, then use a Microsoft personal account (hotmail.com, gmail.com, outlook.com, SkypeID etc) as an alternative account choice.
The update should only take a few minutes to complete and you‘ll receive a status email at your Office 365 or Microsoft account once the update is completed.
Until you update your account, you won't be able to sign into the Microsoft Educator Community site using your Facebook, Twitter and Skype account.

Do I need to update my account?
Yes. You must request to update your account. This update is required to continue accessing the Microsoft Educator Community resources and maintain your badges and certifications.
Why are we making this change?
Microsoft is committed to providing our users with the highest level of security and quality in our products and services. To comply with these changes, All Microsoft experiences are consolidating authentication methods. We are removing social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook as options to log in to our services. We realize this is an inconvenience for you but this transition should happen seamlessly for our customers as we will do everything we can to make this transition as easy as possible. What’s included in the migration?
In order to provide a seamless experience, we will be mergin the following data associated with your account into your new Microsoft account:
1- Data associated with your training including completed courses, courses in progress, achievements and saved content.
2- Data associated with your existing programs, badges certificates and comments.
3- Activity from previous community interactions such as liking, commenting and participation in collaboration events.
4- Your Profile data and account preferences.
